Wishing You Joy DIY Card (with Flocking)
Make a beautiful wintry card that's easy to reproduce for your holiday cards this year. Take your handmade cards to the next level with flocking. The delicious, tactile material is so fun to craft with! You'll just love the softness. Make your snowflakes really pop when you add ink and jewels to finish off the design. It's a really great project to make in bulk, and the simple elegance of the design should appeal to everyone on your mailing list. If you haven't given flocking a try yet, it's time to get on trend. Have fun making these gorgeous cards!

Instructions

I wanted to use the NEW Gina K Designs Wishing You Joy Stencil to create a CAS Card Design that’s FULL of Texture and Sparkle and EASY to create multiples of for those Holiday Cards you may need to make!!
-
I started by Spraying the back of my Stencil with the Pixie Spray!! Then I placed it over my Card Panel!! I used the Purple Tape to mask off the outside edge of the Card Panel!! Then applied the Deco Foil Transfer Gel using the Stencil Pal!! Then set them aside to dry!!
-
Once Dry I cut a Piece of the NEW Deco Foil Flock in then placed it over the top of the Stenciled Snowflakes and ran it through my Laminating Machine!!
-
SWOON!! Pulling the Flock backing off to reveal the Flocked Snowflake design is my FAVORITE Part!! I wanted to add even more dimension so I used Distress Oxide Inks in Faded Jeans and an Ink Dauber for the center of the Snowflakes and then added Tumbled Glass with an Ink Dauber to blend out the Faded Jeans!! I LOVE how it really makes the Flocked Snowflakes POP off the Card Panel!!
-
I Stamped and Embossed the sentiment from the Gina K Designs Wishing You Joy Stamp Set using the Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink and WoW Ultra Fine Embossing Powder!! Then I added some Pretty Pink Posh Aquamarine Jewels to the center of the Snowflakes!! I LOVE the Sparkle they add and how they change to match colors of the Snowflakes!!
-
My second Card was created exactly the same way as the first only I changed the Colors and the sentiment to show you could create this design in almost any color palette!!
