    Instructions

    1. Take a lantern and take the glass out.

    2. Wrap battery operated lights around a glass vase.

    3. Stuff garland in the vase and put into the lantern.

    4. Surround the base of the vase with Christmas flowers and accessories secure with hot glue.

    5. Add some berries and burlap to fill around the flowers.

    6. Style around the outside of the lantern with ribbon.

    This is a lovely idea and I think this would make a nice hostess gift because the recipient could then put it out right away as a decoration. You could also make several,of these in a mini scale and create a garland effect by ,inning them up on the fireplace mantle or the hearth, or even as a table centerpiece with several either clustered or in a row. Nice idea and project!
