I would love to paint these and add glitter to them as well. I think the way that it is shown is kind of a little bit blah. Go ahead and embellish them to your heart's content. If you are good with free-hand painting then imagine your snowflakes with swirls of colors up and down the length of the pins. If I paint mine white, I would chose a pretty irridescent blue to accent it with. I'd trace over my design with a glue pen, then I'd shake white, pearl, or blue glitter over it and shake off the excess.

I think this just moved into next place in my list of projects to do with the grand kids. It's easy, frugal and something they can't get hurt doing. I have all kinds of things they can add to decorate them with. This will be fun.thanks for sharing it.
