Before these snowflakes, o decoupaged winter scenes from old Christmas cards onto slate tiles. I hung them around my front door with pine boughs and bright ribbons

I am decorating brown bottles and spice jars for the homemade vanilla and spice mixes I am making for my daughter for Christmas.

A notion box for my knitting tools.

Years ago, I created a simple pattern in metallic colors on a small wooden box. I gave it away as a present.

    very pretty.

    I don't think I ever have. Sorry.

What an easy way to create a classy design for the sophisticated decorator that wants something elegant and simple. I love this idea for any room of the home. You can use them for the holidays or to decorate a spare bedroom for the winter on a budget. What a fun way to spend little and make a big impact.

Such a simple yet pretty idea.. The holidays sure do bring out the talent and creativeness in people.i saw these and immediately thought of friends and family that have never seen snow. Why not make them some. A little touch of glitter on them will add a nice touch too. My grand daughter may get a glass treasure box with a snowflake on the back side of the lid!
