Whimsy Couture is a home-based PDF sewing patterns business for mostly kids clothing. I founded this little cottage business in 2008 and started by making Barbie dresses and pet beds. Soon after my first child was born, I discovered my love for designing baby clothes and started drafting patterns. I work the old fashioned way and hand-draw my templates with lots of trial and error. I got better after a while though.

Now my pattern business yields about 100+ patterns, including free ones. I love to offer free patterns for small things and interact with my customers. To run my business, great customer service is number one on my list. If I don't sew, draw patterns or work on blog posts, I love playing with my family which includes two kids, three dogs and a husband. Our days are busy and we try to stay very close and enjoy each other. I hope you enjoy my free patterns and tutorials I offer!
