I think this is a great idea. I can use it myself when I am working on my jewelry making. I like to give my back a rest so I sit on the sofa but I can't find anything to support my supplies. I tried a metal tray but it hurt my knees. I think I will attach this to the pillow with Velcro. Put some on the pillow and some on the board. That way I can remove the pillow for washing.
