Instructions
-
Select gray and 2 different shades of pink colored craft papers for the pig papercraft. Trace the body base, head, outer ear layouts, and tail and leg patterns on the light pink colored paper; trace the nose and inner ear patterns on dark pink colored craft paper; and trace the hoof patterns on the gray colored craft paper. Cut out the patterns using scissors. You can use the eyes directly from the template.
-
Attach the inner ear cutouts in the middle of the outer ear cutouts; attach the hoof patterns on the bottom side of the leg cutouts.
-
Attach the eye cutouts on the top side and the nose pattern on the middle part of the head pattern.
-
Use a sharpie to draw the nose and mouth of the papercraft pig puppet.
-
You can craft your own custom sized paper bag from brown wrapping paper or you can use store-bought brown paper bags. We will use the bottom side of the bag as the top side of the puppet pattern. Attach the leg patterns near the open side of the paper bag.
-
Attach the body base pattern on the top side of the legs, on the paper bag. Attach the tail on either side of the paper bag.
-
Attach the head pattern of the papercraft pig on the bottom flat side of the paper bag and then flatten the bottom side with the rest of the pattern.
