Okay, I have to see this one in a closer picture, more so with the corners of the trim. I do like the Grassy Moss Crochet Afghan pattern and will be making this one. The Diamond stitch sounds easy enough to do and it looks nice too. I like that the written pattern is here on this page. Has anyone make this afghan? If so could you please post a picture of the corner part of the edging? Thank you for sharing this free crochet pattern.

I don't understand the Diamond stitch. What is "fpdc"?

I have the same problem as Leslie with the lack of a foundation row (NOT the foundation chain) and despite the assurance from Julia of Favecrafts there is no update, no clarification of the muddled instructions. Is the row after the foundation chain supposed to be all dc or are there ch-2 spaces involved??

I am having trouble with the Grassy Moss Afghan pattern is there a step between making the 149 chains and then row 1 - there does not appear to be any way to do row 1 without a base to work on. The diamond instructions are confusing??
