Lazy Lavender Shell Throw

Materials:
- 7 skeins Red Heart Classic yarn in Light Lavender
- 2 skeins Red Heart Classic yarn in Aran
- 4.5mm (US G-6) crochet hooks or size needed for gauge
Gauge: 3 Shells – 4 ½”; 4 rows – 3 ¼”
Special Stitch: Shell – 4 dc, ch 2, dc
Instructions:
Afghan Measures: 46” x 57”

Row 1 (RS): With light lavender ch 144, (4 dc, ch 2, dc) in 6th ch from hook, skip 4 ch, (4 dc, ch 2, dc) in next ch, repeat from * across ending skip 2 ch, dc in last ch, ch 3 and turn.
- Row 2: (4 dc, ch 2, dc) in each ch 2 sp across, dc in last dc, ch 3 and turn.
Color Scheme
- Repeat Row 2 as follows for a total of 69 rows: 6 rows light lavender, 3 rows aran (7 times), 6 rows light lavender

What a perfect house warming gift. This afghan is beautiful and functional. This would look wonderful on the back of a couch or chair in the living room or on you as you snuggle on the couch watching your favorite movie. This afghan would also be a wonderful gift to welcome someone to the neighborhood.
