Amigurumi patterns are so relaxing. They help me practice my stitches and focus on finishing one project quickly. These are the cutest little mini octopus that I have seen. I love the pastel colors here but I am thinking about attaching them to crib mobile and I want to use primary colors instead. I am sure the color I select will not diminish the overall attractiveness of the finished project.

My niece is going to have a baby in 6 months and if it is a girl she is thinking of doing THE LITTLE MERMAID THEME would these mini octopus not be cute to use. I love them. They are so cute and so easy to crochet. I will have to think of something to do if it is a boy. Any suggestions? A very good tutorial. Thanks.

What a nice and easy to understand pattern in this mini-octopus. Wouldn't it be great to add these babies to another mommy and daddy to complete an entire family? The pattern is so simple to understand. I bet you could make about 20 of these in no time. I just love the faces, too.
