Plush Basketweave Baby Blanket Pattern
The crochet basketweave stitch is a must-learn for any intermediate crocheter!
Wrap your baby up in the coziest blanket you'll ever make. The Plush Basketweave Baby Blanket Pattern is a beautiful crochet pattern made with thick, soft yarn. The bulky yarn works up quickly, and the basketweave pattern looks gorgeous once you master the technique. Basketweave translates well to blanket patterns because it gives them a rich texture. The effect looks so complicated and ornate, and you'll impress people when you say you made the blanket yourself! Whether you make it for your baby or bring it as a baby shower gift, this crochet blanket will be loved by the recipient.

This Plush Basketweave Baby Blanket Pattern is so nice and I'm making it now. I'm using Premier Sweet Roll in Spearmint Pop. I have used 8 rolls so far and just bought 9 more. I love the colors in this roll. I followed the written pattern and it is coming out great! I'm making mine a little longer then the pattern, for my mother-in-law. She loves the colors and the pattern of the basketweave reminds her of her childhood. So this will be a great warm lap blanket for her. I'm hoping my picture comes up, some times the picture doesn't load? Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
