This Pop Goes the Weasel Afghan is just beautiful with the colors used! I love the different textures this pattern gives and after making a 8" x 8" swatch, it came out great! I think any baby would like feeling the different textures in this one. So easy if you just follow the pattern as written. I'll be making a larger, full size afghan after I finish the project I'm working on now.. Hats for winter.. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

What a cute blanket. Super easy to crochet for sure. I love the colors that the designer made the blanket up in. My first thought when I saw this was how many babies will enjoy feeling the bump in the design. But then came to mind is a dementia patient. Sensory items are a big thing now. The studies have shown that it stimulates the brain in a positive way. I will be making up and donating these blankets to our local nursing homes

The Pop Goes the Weasel Afghan looks so cute. And this can be for a boy or a girl. You could also substitute a light green yarn for the pink to make it look more for a boy. The bobble stitch is really cute when it is worked up. I will be making this blanket in the near future. Looks like fun.

What a cute little afghan to crochet for either a girl or a boy. This would be a great afghan for a beginner to start working on while waiting for your bundle of joy to arrive or for your grandchild to arrive. Either way this afghan will make a great blanket to wrap a little on up in to keep them nice and snug.
