Decorated Baby Shoes
An easy and fashionable alternative to homemade baby shoes. Susan Weckesser's Decorated Baby Shoes, one of many great baby craft ideas, make the perfect accessory for your beautiful little one.
Materials:
- Baby shoes
- Ribbon
- Metallic round beads
- Metallic flower & bee beads
- Gauze
- Assorted flowers
- Small safety pin
- Material tag
- 28 gauge craft wire
- Hot glue gun
- Glue dots
- Quilting thread
- Needle
Instructions:
- Stitch your small round metallic beads onto the back corner panels of the shoe.
- With a quick dry crafting glue or a glue gun, glue your ribbon into 3 loops at one end. Then glue the length of loops to the baby shoe. Without cutting the ribbon, wrap and glue the remaining piece of ribbon around the edge of the shoe.
- Cut and attach 2-3 inch length pieces of wire to the beads and flowers so your can wire and attach pieces to the shoe.
- Some of the smaller flowers can be placed in with a glue gun or glue dots.

@bginevan, Thanks for your comment. These shoes can be made for boys, as well, by using blue baby shoes and blue accessories instead of pink flowers as shown in the picture. I hope this helps! --Editor of FaveCrafts
