Hello, I was wondering if anyone who has made this can help me by explaining what to do when it says shape back. Im having a hard time following this.

Haven't tried this yet but am adding to my favs. BUT I so want to make the hat too to go with it. Anybody know where I can get the pattern for it?

Can anyone tell me what yarn you used, and what size hook? Thank you!

Looks great I want to make it as soon as I find the right yarn and color

Hello, I saw that you made this sweater, and I was wondering if you could tell me what yarn you used, and also what hook size. Thank you in advance!

My neighbors' daughter likes hoodies. She asked me to make a sweater for her daughter and now that I found this hoodie they will both be surprised. Can't wait to get started. So many things to do so little time. I forsee some late nights in my near future. Christmas is coming, my neighbor's daughter, her kitty, my daughter best friend's having a baby SOON, my grandsons' oh where does it end? Oh but I love it.

Please clarify the yarn used in Hooded Sweater Crochet pattern...I can't find "Bernat Chunky" anywhere. What is a good substitute? Or is there another name for it?? Please help as I need to make this for a Christmas present!

I have found Bernat Chunky at WalMart, JoAnnes, Hobby Lobby and Michaels. Where have you been looking? I have bought several different color schemes from these stores to in it. Maybe the store you went to just had everything mixed up? Just trying to help. WalMart also carries a brand called Lion Brand Hometown and it is a bulky but soft yarn that I also love using!

I have also been to those stores, but only find Bernat "SOFTEE" Chunky. Is it the same thing??

I just finished this in a 2/3XL and I could likely have made it smaller as it's so roomy! I did make it a little longer in the body (added on about 10 more rows) as I prefer to have my sweaters cover my bum. I used a variegated colourways as I love how that yarn works up, and I am very impressed. I did not have any issues with putting it all together, even with the unusual shoulder construction.

Can you tell me what yarn and hook size you used? Thank you!

Hello. I have a question on the sleeves. After Increase on the next row did you crochet in the first stitch or the second stitch. My sleeve is wider on one side and I increased in the first and last sitch.

i am going to try this one but im going to add a kangaroo pocket on the front so i can use it as a fall into light winter jacket:) i hope when its done it looks as good as the picture, im doning mine in a dark pink

Pattern doesn't make sense with the arm holes. If you miss the 16 stitches on back and front that puts the bust down several sizes. How can the finished size be 46 (doing the large size) when the front/back is 42 inches and from the armholes up is 34? Does not make sense at all to lose those 16 stitches to form the arm holes. Trying to adjust it, but not sure how I can do that.

I'm having issues trying to figure out the neck portion!

Love that this goes up to a size 5X. Bernat has a lot of larger plus sizes, which are very hard to find!
