I plan to make these to decorate my gift bags this Christmas. Once the gift is delivered, the person may keep the star as an ornament for their tree and the makes it a second gift! I like the idea of making different ones to attach each year as collectibles. My tree has many homemade pieces from other people.

Simple but attractive. I would make a couple dozen of these and decorate a small tree with them, or even connect them for a star Christmas garland. They would also make a great little bobble to attach to a present as a little extra touch. They could also be made in red, white, and blue for 4th of July decorations.

jobers77, I really like your idea of using these are garland and also for the 4th of July decorations. I was looking for something easy to make at the last minute for Christmas presents. Does anyone else wait to the last minute to make things for the holidays? I also like to make little something's and leave them with a note attached for people I don't even know.
