Crystal Drops Crochet Cowl

"For this cowl I used a new stitch pattern. The wrong side of this stitch also has a pretty texture as same as right side. This is a free size pattern that means you can make it to fit your desire length and wide. I havent tested with other weight of yarns, but I believe this pattern might be worked with DK and worsted."

Crochet Gauge20 dc x 8 rows = with 4.5mm crochet hook

Finished Size9 wide and 37 around

Sport yarn (16 WPI) in 2 colors. Approx 500-600 yards total

I have just started to learn crochet. I am having trouble with these terms yarn weight 3 LT/DK 20 dc. Can somebody tell me what they mean nd here I can fin online what the terms mean so can learn.
