These adorable little slippers are pretty and it is a shame there is no information about the pouch they are enclosed in. I would love to know more about that. Is it a hanger for slippers as it appears it is not the only pouch. I did a little research and could not find anything. If you can add to the quest, please share.

It is a shame that you can not see the whole of these little flower slippers. From what is visible from the photograph these are quite cute. Aside from the little flower as an embellishment, these have the appearance of moccasins.

These flower embellished cotton slippers are so dainty and pretty. They have a classic design instead of a trendy and vibrant colored look- I've seen so many of those and not so many of the more understated looking slippers. If you are looking to make something unique for a bridal shower these would be it, in my opinion.

These slippers are so cute but hard to see in the photo, so I got another image from Ravelry. If you've been having trouble with the sizing, small, medium, or large, check out the Lily Sugar N Cream site for an updated pattern.

You know I read all of the reviews esterday on this pattern and frankly I am DISAPOINTED with those of you that are trying toget this pattern taken down That is what I called a BULLY and thereis no room in this world for BULLYING If you don't like the way a pattern is written don't do the pattern or state what is wrong with the pattern and go on because the person who made the pattern may be new at writting patterns and making mistakes is how you get better at writting patterns So I eruge you to not DISCOURGE the maker of any pattern from making more patterns Besides God said Do unto others as you would have them do unto you I wish everyone would remember that bible verse because the world would be a lot better place to raise our children in Set a good example for…Read More others and others will soon follow your example Fellow Crocher Tammie

Again, even with posting the direct link to the manufacturer's pattern you're not addressing the issue that the pattern doesn't work. This slipper pattern is the first thing that pops up on your website when someone clicks on slippers and socks. It's a bad pattern. Take it down. Otherwise people are just going to keep trying to make something that is not designed correctly. It's bad editorial policy to leave up a bum pattern. You could seriously discourage novice crocheters with this pattern. TAKE IT DOWN if you cannot get corrections. Relying on the refrain that you're just posting another designers pattern is a big load of B.S. It's lazy. Unless your editors have successfully tried to get through this pattern yourselves, you have no business keeping this up. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Don't bother. This pattern is messed up at rnd3 unless you have messed up feet!

Maybe that's why they only show a tiny portion of the slipper sticking out of the other crocheted thing . . .

This is the most messed up pattern ive gotten yet. If you aren't going to post the right directions, don't post them at all!! the pattern is messed up on the 3rd rnd, unless you have messed up feet!! This is the 4th pattern i've tried that was wrong. I don't know why people try to mess people up like this!

yes it does make sense that the three DC and Two DC part of the pattern is on the back side of the slipper and once the SLS on the 8 dc from the chain three is it just the SlS or do we chain three then skip next 2 DC? And way are we placing the top of the slipper on the back of the slipper instead of the front where we have already been decreasing?

@veehog 9282045, There are not currently any corrections for this pattern. If you have questions, we suggest contacting the original designer of the pattern. The name is specified in the byline of the project. --Editor of FaveCrafts

Instead of suggesting she contact the designer, why keep the pattern on the site? I spent about 40 hours trying to figure out how this pattern worked. It's ridiculous that you'd keep it up rather than address the issue.

THIS IS NOT HELPFUL. THE PATTERN IS MESSED UP. WHY DO YOU INSIST ON KEEPING UP A BUM PATTERN? IT'S SIMILAR TO POSTING A RECIPE YOU KNOW WON'T WORK. JUST TAKE IT DOWN.

I don't know why you said you didn't have a pattern for the holder pocket as I found it in your patterns under "Pocket Hanging Storage" and it is the same as shown with the slippers in it. I hope this will turn out after reading the reviews on the slippers. If there are errors in the patterns, do you send out corrections? I think it would make a cute gift.

I tried this pattern at least 8 different times and the results were always the same. I began to think something was wrong with the way I read the pattern, so I asked my friend (very experienced in crochet) to try it and tell me how it turned out. Well...she had the same results; we both ended up with what we laughingly call "Elephant Slippers" because, if you don't have a round foot, these just aren't gonna turn out for you. I've never had so much trouble with a pattern in all my years of crocheting. Sorry, but maybe you need to go back to the drawing board on this one.

I think there's a problem with top row 1. The stitch placement is supposed to be at the toes, not the heel. Does that sound right to anybody? 8 stitches before chain 3 space is the heel.
lpark1948

When you are working on your beginning chain, you are only using one half of the stitch...when it says to work on the remaining loop, you are actually turning your work and working on the other side of the foundation chain or the remaining loops. Hope this helps....

I think that the size you are making shows a difference. This pattern does not work out on the Large size at all. I will work on it and post if I have time. Making for xmas gifts, feel a little frustrated.

to roselereane: picture yourself walking down to the yarn shop on the sidewalk, then use the sidewalk across the street for the return trip home - - - now, (1) your foundation chain is the street and (2) you walk/crochet 17 steps/dcs down the sidewalk to the yarn shop, then (3) go into the shop at the end of the street through the "In" door and do 5 dcs, and (6) when you leave through the "Out" door on the other side of the check-outs you are facing home but you are on the other side of the street so you take THAT sidewalk for the 17 steps/dcs needed to get you to the front steps of home where you water the dog, pick up somebody's slippers and make a sandwich for your husband (3 dcs in last chain) before you can sit down yourself and start to crochet the next round . . .

I made two pairs of these slippers for Christmas gifts and they were a hit!! One change I made was to do the sole with a double strand of yarn so that the sole was a little stronger and would stand up a little better. I did find that I had some dc left over in round 3, but I am famous for making things up as I go along, and just did extra decreases.
