"Crochet Coasters are one of my all time favorite project to whip up.Crochet coasters are among the easiest patterns to make. They are quick and easy to make and they are also just easy enough for a beginner. Small and easy to complete. They also make great gifts for friends, family and colleagues be it any occasion. Lately, I have been busy whipping up Coasters after Coasters.....and obviously I want to share those with you. Lets start with the most simple coaster to make. Here is the pattern for Single Crochet Square Coaster. Materials Used:- Yarn( Two Colors) Crochet Hook."
Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Yes! This is the kind of "beginner's" crochet pattern that I need. I looked at a couple more but there was no way I could do them. This one is just right for a real beginner and it's a useful project, too. AND I was just thinking I needed some new coasters, so...

Great beginners project! I am giving crochet instructions and they are very novice at it so this would be perfect for them. It's all just single crochet, and nothing fancy to learn. You can make it in red and trim in green for the holidays. Or pastels for Spring. Let your imagination run free.
