"Talk about one block that can be turned into multiple designs, then you haev the Filet Crochet Heart block right there. You can make this into an afghan, a coaster, a table runner, a placemat. whatever you can imagine doing with it. The pattern is easy enough to follow with a hand drawn chart included as well. You only need to use two stitches for this pattern- double and single crochet. If you are new to Filet crochet, you may find it a of a challenge, but really it is just a repetitve process that needs a little calculations, and all that is covered by just following the pattern.
