Apple Pie Wreath
Welcome friends and loved ones to your home with this beautiful Apple Pie Wreath from Lisa DeNardi. This wreath is great to have out all season long and makes a wonderful first impression for guests coming to your home.
Materials:
- Wire wreath
- Fresh Apple Pie sign (or similar sign)
- Roll of loose woven burlap
- A few fall sprigs
- Floral apples
- Fall fabric
Instructions:
-
The fabric and the burlap were cut in strips roughly 12 inches by 1 inch. The fabric was just as pretty on the flip side and I liked the look of both colors on the wreath.
-
Each strip was tied randomly to the wire wreath. The loose woven burlap will fray quite a bit while working with it. That’s ok. The overall look should have an uncontrolled and natural appearance.
-
With the addition of a few small apples, fall flowers and trimmings, the wreath filled out beautifully... and those stray burlap strings just add to the rustic charm.
-
I loved this wooden, half-rolling pin I found at Michaels. The wire was tied to the bottom of the wreath when it was all done.
- PLEASE NOTE: Using any decorative items you wish, this wreath will be beautiful in any room, but is ONLY to be used indoors. The loose woven burlap will not stand up to outdoor weather.

This wreath is great for fall decor and would even work year round if your decor is farm style. I like that it is more of a natural look instead of a formal wreath. I enjoy decorating with apples in the fall and winter, so I will make this wreath and see how I can transform it for winter months.

I love any wreath that uses fruit! I have some vintage dinnerware with apples and this wreath would really complement that set! And rolling pins are easy to come by at garage and estate sales if you don't mind keeping it round ... Easy enough to add your own words to it. Or even put it at the top and hang your wreath from the rolling pin! Darling project!

So cute! This is a great piece of fall decor. I hope no one is disappointed if you don't always have fresh apple pie waiting for them, though. )

Just what I need for my door this fall. The weather has turned cool finally, and I took my summer wreath down only to discover I don't have a fall replacement! I'll have to work fast!
