Girls Christmas Goblet
Decorate a plain goblet and turn it into a fun gift for a friend. This Christmas gift idea is both fun and versatile. In fact, it's sure to become a keepsake and can be displayed all year long.
Materials:

- DecoArt Americana Gloss Enamels DAG78 - Flesh Tone
- DecoArt Americana Gloss Enamels DAG101 - Dioxazine Purple
- DecoArt Americana Gloss Enamels DAG129 - True Red
- DecoArt Americana Gloss Enamels DAG151 - Royal Fuchsia
- DecoArt Americana Gloss Enamels DAG163 - Honey Brown
- DecoArt Americana Gloss Enamels DAG201 - Primary Yellow
- 19-ounce balloon goblet
- #10/0 liner brush
- #6 round brush
- #3 round brush
- Water container
- Palette or plastic plate
- Paper towels
- Alcohol
- Small sponge pouncer
- Scruffy old brush
Instructions:
Preparation:
- Clean goblet with alcohol. Dry well with paper towel or soft cloth. Position and tape pattern inside goblet.
On front outside of glass:

Use #6 round brush and Flesh Tone to paint three round circles for faces. Shade with Royal Fuchsia.

Use #3 round brush and White to paint eyes.

Use liner brush, Honey Brown, and True Blue for eye color.

Use #3 round brush and Primary Yellow to paint hair on girl on left; paint in swirly curl fashion and add Honey Brown highlights.

Use #3 round brush and Black to paint hair on girl in center, in sweeping style on each side with White highlights. Add bangs.

Use #6 round brush and True Red to paint hair on girl on right in bob style; add White highlights.

Use #6 round brush and Lavender to paint toboggan-style hat girl on left.

Use #3 round brush and Royal Fuchsia paint sock hat on girl in center.

Use scruffy brush and White to paint ear muffs on girl on right. Use #3 round brush and Black to paint arched headband .

Use scruffy brush to paint fur on bottom of both girls' hats and on ear muffs.
- Use #3 round brush and Royal Fuchsia paint scarves on both outer girls. Use Lavender for scarf on girl in center.
On back outside of glass:

Use #3 round brush and Lavender to paint purse. Shade and paint tab with Dioxazine Purple.

Use #3 round brush and Black to paint pair of shoes shaded with White.

Use #6 round brush and White to paint martini glass. When dry, paint two olives in Royal Fuchsia.

Use liner brush and Royal Fuchsia to paint bows on shoes. Use liner brush tip to dot on shoes.

Use liner brush to alternate lines on stem in Royal Fuchsia and Lavender, leaving clear space between lines. (See photo.)

Use flat brush and Lavender to paint top of base.

Use pouncer and Royal Fuchsia to pounce dots on top of Lavender on base.

Use tip of liner brush to place dots in Royal Fuchsia on toboggan cap painted in Lavender.

Use liner brush and Dioxazine Purple to paint stripes on Lavender cap.
-
Use liner brush and Foliage Green to paint stripes on Royal Fuchsia scarf.
-
Use scruffy brush dipped in Royal Fuchsia (pouncing most off onto paper towel) to pounce onto girls' cheeks.

Use liner brush and Black to outline eyes and to make eyelashes. Use tip of brush dipped in White to dot on each eye.

Use liner brush and True Red to paint each girl's mouth. When dry, outline in Royal Fuchsia.

With #3 round brush and Black, paint button on flap of purse.

Use liner brush and Black to outline girls' faces, purse, and martini glass, and to do lettering.
- Use liner brush and Black to paint random musical notes.
To finish:

Allow to airdry for 48 hours.
- Place in painted goblet in cool oven and set on 325 degrees. When oven reaches 325 degrees, set timer for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, turn off oven, crack open door, and allow piece to completely cool before removing.

Do you paint the whole glass with some kind of white because it doesn't look clear? I like the look of it, but not sure there is a step missing?
