    Glue Hearts Frame

    A handmade picture frame is the perfect gift for someone you love. A Glue Hearts Frame from Tiffany Windsor looks and feels amazing. Use a wooden frame as your base and Aleene's Tacky Glue to create the pretty hearts.

    Materials:

    • Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue
    • Aleene’s Spray Acrylic Sealer – Gloss (optional)
    • Lightweight cardboard (for heart pattern)
    • Pencil
    • White flat spray paint
    • Blending craft chalks
    • Cotton swabs

    Instructions:

    1. Cut heart pattern to desired size.

    2. Trace pattern with pencil on frame. Repeat tracing heart patterns where desired on frame.

    3. Trace outline pattern with glue.

    4. Fill in with lines of glue. Don’t fill in the entire heart design.

    5. Let dry completely until glue is clear.

    6. Spray over entire frame with flat white spray paint.

    7. Rub cotton swab into chalk and rub onto raised surface.

    8. Use a clean swab to apply each color blending where colors meet. Blow excess chalk dust away. If desired, apply coat of gloss spray.

    9. You can create many different finished effects with this technique. On this frame, I applied black paint over entire frame, let dry and then antiqued the hearts with gold paint.
