Holly Berry Christmas Gift Box

Use paint writers to turn a Chinese paper box into that special holiday gift box with bright red and green holly.

Materials:

Americana Writers

• DAW19 - Christmas Red
• DAW230 - Christmas Green

Supplies

• 14 4-inch lengths of 3/8" to 3/4" holiday ribbons
• Flame lighter or wood burning tool (optional)
• Small (2 1/2" high) Chinese paper box in lime, Westrim Crafts 672768-BE-015

Instructions:

Preparation: Seal ends of ribbon by holding ends near flame of lighter or with wood burning tool. Use precaution and do not touch ribbon with flame.

1. Use Christmas Red Americana Writer to paint groups of three dots for berry print on all sides and flaps of box.
2. Use Christmas Green Writer to paint lines for leaves around holly berries, extending off side edge. Let dry.
3. Tie ribbons onto wire handle.
