With only a few materials and a couple of easy steps, you can make your very own box to protect your most cherished possession. This is a lovely craft that makes a great gift for a christening, baptism, or even a new baby.
Materials:
- Image of your choice
- Paper machet box
- Paint
- Paint brushes and sponges
- Distress Inks
- Various embellishments
Instructions:
-
I started with a Paper Mache box-these can be purchased at many craft stores.
-
I used Creative Inspirations paint in two shades of green; green olive and sage worked great together. Gold was sponged around the edges.
-
After printing the image and tearing all around the edges, I chose to use distress inks to age it all.
- The leaves are a die from Sweet Stamps/Cheery Lynn. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
