Etched Ornament Cards of Love
These beautifully etched cards from Etchworld Armour are a great way to say "I love you"

Materials:
- #10-0101 Deluxe Glass Etching Kit (Love Birds stencil included)
- #29-2606 Beveled Heart Ornament Shape
- #20-0564 “Love Always” Stencil
- 4”x5 1/2” White Greeting Card Blank
- 4”x5 1/2” Red Paper
- 1 Small White Satin Bow
- 8” piece 1/8” Red Offray Ribbon
- Gold Braid Trim
- White Craft Glue
- Irregular Scallop Edged Craft Scissors & straight scissors
- Hobby Knife and Cutting Mat
- Pencil
- 1/2” wide Masking Tape
- 1” piece of clear tape
- Glass cleaner, paper towels
Steps:
- Clean ornament with glass cleaner.
- Cut out “I love You” Stencil. Tape stencil to surface of glass and rub down evenly. Repeat for love birds stencil.
- Mask all exposed glass and apply the Armour Etch® Cream generously to cover the stencil area completely. Wait 60 seconds.
- After 60 seconds wash under warm running water to remove all Armour Etch® Cream.
- Remove masking tape. Clean with glass cleaner and dry.
- Place the ornament on the front of the card so that the flap opening is on the bottom. Trace the outside edge of the ormanent lightly with a pencil. Using a hobby knife cut out the traced heart 1/4” larger then the traced design.
- Using irregular scallop edge craft scissors trim away 1/4” of card bottom front edge of card.
- With scalloped scissors trim red paper 1/16” around outside edge so a white edge shows.
- Glue gold braid around edge of heart cutout with white craft glue.
- Make a 1/4” slit in the center of the cards fold to allow the ribbon to pass through. String the ornament with the ribbon and glue on white bow over the ornaments hole. Pass the ribbon through the slit and tape to back of card.
