Instructions

First Mona coated the glass jar and lid with a layer of gesso. This provides a matte finish with a bit of "tooth" for other paints to adhere to.

Next she layered Opal Magic and Art Alchemy paints, adding cheesecloth in between colors for texture.

This gorgeous finished jar is perfect for storing secrets inside, or remove the lid and use it for paintbrushes, and other items!

Oh my goodness, this jar is AMAZING! My mind is going totally crazy with ideas for certain special folks in my life. The jar in the picture caught my eye immediately. Each jar would be so easy to unique. I can't wait to start making up several. I think the hunt for uniquely shaped jars will be fun also.
