Full of Smiles Mini Book

This Full-of-Smiles Mini Book from Shannon Bielke is a great way to show you care. Give this papercraft as a gift - it is sure to be cherished for a lifetime.



Instructions:

• Prima blank book
• Heidi Swapp papers
• American Tag eyelets and nailheads
• Misc ribbon and fibers

Materials:

1. Cut up a few of the blank pages to use as different shaped embellishments on the other pages of the book. First, all pieces are covered with different papers and edges inked before building the pages.
    
2. The front cover is cut about ½“ smaller than the other pages, then embellished with 3 different floral shapes glued together, then eyeleted and braded to the front cover.
    
3. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pages are all covered front and back, with different coordinating papers, some pieced, some a whole page of solid color.
    
4. Embellish each page with either small paper-covered heart or button shapes, or frames for photos, some of these decorated with ribbon or fiber.
    
5. The back cover is made of a diagonally set page, backed with a square frame decorated with hearts and a tagged pull-out page.
    
6. I added 2 eyelets to each page, and large jump-rings to connect the 5 pages.
