"The Ray of Honey Socks is a free knitting pattern that uses the Ray of Honey Cable Stitch to create a textured surface that resembles honeycomb. You'll need a skein of your favorite sock yarn (yarn used in sample is Malabrigo Sock) and size 2 knitting needles in whatever method you prefer working in the round. Techniques you will need to know for this pattern are the knit stitch, purl stitch, how to cast on for socks, and how to use a cable needle. It is sized for Small (Large), 7 (7.75) inch circumference to fit women's shoe size 4-8 (9-11)."
