Instructions:
-
Cut a tag shape out of your colored paper or cardstock. Punch a hole in the center top for the ribbons. Stamp a background pattern on the tag using the Pearl Ex Stamp Pad in Gold. This pattern can be subtle or bold, but you will be able to see it through your ExtravOrganza image. Paint the edges of the tag with a Lumiere color of your choice. Let dry.
-
Print your downloaded images or personal photos onto the ExtravOrganza. You might want to play with the sizing and color on regular paper before you print on the ExtravOrganza. Cut the image out leaving about 1/4" extra to the outside of the image. Peel the paper backing off of the ExtravOrganza. Fringe the edges by pulling threads from around the edges of the fabric . Paint the edges of the fringe in the Lumiere color of your choice . Let dry.
-
To create the shrink plastic charms that are on the tags, prepare the shrink plastic by sanding in two directions. Stamp an all over pattern with the Pearl Ex Stamp Pad in Gold. Let ink dry completely. Next, you can print on the shrink plastic by running it through an inkjet printer. Print words in a font that you like. Remember that the shrink plastic will reduce in size about 45% so make sure that you use a font that is large in size. Cut out the words and punch a hole for the ribbon. Shrink the plastic. Roll the edges of the charm on the stamp pad to give them some color too.
-
Put it all together. Adhere the ExtravOrganza to the tag with grommets or vellum tape . Glue or use tape to stick on the buttons or other embellishments. Tie ribbon through the charm and through the hole at the top of the tag. Complete the tag by adding a personal message or poem to the back of the tag.
