Choose from your favorite flowers, shapes, and finally recycle those crafty odds and ends.
Instructions:
- Using Kelly Green and Fuschia, dye some simple wood shapes and some cute laser cut birds.
- After you dye the wood shapes and let them dry on a layer of paper towels, stamp the teardrop shapes using black pigment ink.
- Bits and pieces such as jewelry findings, flat backed crystals and rhinestone chain were used to complete this necklace and earring set.
- Attach the rhinestone chain to the edges of the large teardrop wood shape with a strong adhesive like Beacon's Glass Metal and More.
- Add the birds to the center of this wood shape along with a tiny wood cut piece and stamp with the letter "i."
- A knotting tool from Beadalon proved to come in handy for carefully piercing holes for the insertion of jump rings.
- Once you have your shapes embellished with all your bling and dyed wood, attach them to a chain using chain nose pliers and jump rings.
- You can also use super tiny crystals to embellish the birds and outline the smaller wood teardrop shapes.
