Materials:
- Hoop Earring (to use as the base)
- 24g Soft Sterling Wire
- 6" Sterling Chain
- Heart Bead
- 2" Headpin
- Wirecutter
- Chain-nose or crimp pliers
- Round-nose pliers
Instructions:
-
Cut the chain inyo two 1/2 " pieces, and cut the remaining 5" into four equal pieces.
-
Place headpin through heart bead and create a wire wrapped loop capturing the two 1/2 pieces of chain in the loop, set aside.
-
Create a loop in the center of the 24g wire and slide the four remaining pieces of chain into the loop.
-
With the loop centered on the bootom of the hoop, gently wrap the wire around the hoop until each side is 1/2" from the center of the top. Ispace the wraps about a 1/4" apart and don't worry about perfection, as this is a funky pendant and the imperfections are part of it's charm.
-
Slide the ends of the chain onto each of wires and continue wrapping the hoop until you have reached the center.
-
Make a loop on top and wrap the wire. Trim and tack end.
