I love this scrubby dish cloth pattern. I have a bunch of this yarn, and have been wondering what to do with it. The only issue I have is that this yarn might be difficult to crochet with. Usually when I am using this yarn, it is in a project that has previously been done on one side with cotton, or does not matter how many stitches are missed.

One of my new favorite yarns to work with is the scrubby yarn. All of relatives received some sort of scrubby yarn item and I am still collecting scrubby yarn projects. This is being added to the list.

I have seen these scrubbys for a while now but I have yet to make any yet. I am wondering just how useful they really are in the kitchen. If you have made and used this pattern in the kitchen as intended is it possible for you to rate the worth of this project?

Someone recently gifted me with a skein of Red Heart Scrubby, so it's good to find patterns written specifically for it. I've tried double-stranding it with kitchen cotton (and using a larger-than-normal hook) to make it a bit easier to work with - but perhaps this pattern will make me brave enough to use the Scrubby by itself! #bestideaever

These look so easy to make, and the colors are perfect for the Fourth of July! If I'm invited anywhere this year, I'll have to make these for the hostess. Otherwise, I'll make them for myself to wash dishes with as I stare on outside the kitchen window watching the fireworks, alone.
