I appreciate this free bright yellow dishcloth pattern! My mom would love a set of these. Well, maybe, better make that six! I have some of this yarn here at home right now. I always thought it was the perfect sunny yellow kitchen color. -) Another quick to work up pattern here on favecrafts.

There is a certain amount of self help involved with any craft. These dishclothes are super! I've moved right away from buying those horrible off the shelf ones.

I think the pattern needs to have more information like the RS or tr to Rs .. i find it confusing.. I found others on different site that is much more friendly user .. if you put the pattern just know you might be dealing with beginners.

I THINK THIS IS A PITIFUL PATTERN SINCE IT CONTAINS ABSOLUTELY NO EXPLANATION OR LEGEND TO DEFINE "RS" OR "pushing tr to RS of work" OR "tr" ETCETERA! HOW IS A NEWBIE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THESE THINGS ANYWAY!?

You need to look up crochet definitions if you are in doubt of what instructions mean.. I just looked at this and I knew right a away that... TR = Treble RS = right side... SC= single crochet DC= Double Crochet HDC= Half Double Crochet. Before you start to crochet you should learn crochet stitches by crocheting a small sample.... Oh Yes CH= Chain

I find it a very nice pattern. Not very many beginners can read a pattern. I know as a younger child my grandmother teaching me to chrochet dollies. It took me to be an adult to learn to read a pattern. I do believe in most books with patterns it would have the definitions to the stiches. Also I do believe it's not labled as a beginners pattern.

I am looking for a pattern to crochet just the top portion of a dish cloth to hang on a knob or stove front. I've seen many at craft fairs, but don't know how to crochet the "hanger" portion for the top of a store bought dish drying cloth. Thanks, Re

I have not made this yet, but I believe the tr will make sort of a puff stitch and you would push the puff stitch through to the right side or all to the same side. The pattern sounds like it will be really cute and make a really good dishcloth.

What does it mean when it says pushing tr to RS of work? My row ends with the tr and it says one sc in last stitch. I must be doing something wrong! Thanks

I would lke to take this opportunity to personally thank you for all the wonderful pattersn, instructions on how to do certain stitch, either in crochet or knitting. Of all the websites I browse thru I keep coming back to yours, and it always contains new and interesting patterns, commentaries and lovely pictures in which a person can follow. If I had to rate this website and all the contents that it has available to a person like myself, I would give it more than five stars, and a HUGE THANK YOU for being a website in which I can stop and enjoy and also learn a few more tricks in which to learn. A huge thank you again, and PLEASE keep the information coming. Thank you again, as knitting and crocheting are the crafts in which I can do to relaxe. Kelly
