How cute are this vintage granny square dish cloths?! I love these! I also love a project that works up quickly so I can get that instant gratification. Think of all the color combinations you can come up with! I think if I made it bigger it would make a cute square trivet or centerpiece for the kitchen table.

I really love making dishcloths and this one is a great pattern to practice crocheting the granny square pattern, as well as adding rows, changing colors, and making corners. Turned on the point (or corner) it is in a miter shape. Change out your dishcloths to match seasons or holidays by crocheting in seasonal or holiday colors. Great gift idea made with the recipient's favorite colors!

Love love love it! =)

I like the red and white stripe idea but would make the granny portion in blue to give a flag-like look. Nice for 4th of July or Memorial day.

What a great idea! I am making afghans for veterans, and this would be wonderful for the next pattern I use.. Thank you for your comment!

This is a good one as well.
