Make In Minutes Fabric Coaster
You don't need a weekend or even a full day to create a Make In Minutes Fabric Coaster. Simple craft ideas may seem boring, but this project is anything but ordinary. Recycle scraps of fabrics for this easy craft project. This is a fun way to recycle old fabric that you might otherwise throw away. Use a bunch of loud prints to create some mismatched coasters for your coffee table.
Materials:
- Tile
- Mod Podge
- Foam brush
- Fabric
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Measure fabric and make sure it's about 1" over on each side. That way, you can fold it over and decoupage the tile.
- Apply Mod Podge to your tile.
- Apply pressure to your fabric on the tile. Put Mod Podge in the corners and fold it over.
- Apply two to three coats of Mod Podge on the fabric and let dry.

Cute idea, but I would suggest adding a piece of felt to the back of each coaster as a finishing touch. The tiles are pretty rough on the back and could scratch the surface on which they are placed.

What a brilliant idea. However, there is a mention of "tile", but no details regarding the tile. What kind of tile is used. Should I know this already?

Hi Judy, thanks so much for pointing this out. We will update the Materials list. You just need a simple ceramic tile that you can find at any home supply store. - Julia from FaveCrafts
