This scarf is too cute. It also looks incredibly cozy. I have been aware of this pattern for a couple of years now. I think this might be the year I FINALLY make the scarf for myself. It would fit perfectly in my wardrobe!

What a darling scarf. I can't wait to make it for my daughter. I love the texture. The name Coconut milk is perfect. The minute I looked at the scarf I thought yes...I see a coconut lol. As for how much yarn, I think if you knit its pretty easy to figure out a good idea. I would think as long as you have 600 yards of the cream you will have enough.

I love this! Just wish it was more clear how much yarn is required. I've been trying to find out for years and now the lost sentiments site is closed for good. I suppose I should be ambitious and make it, just to find out!

Hi there! The Lost Sentiments blog is still up as of today actually! I checked the original post and unfortunately it doesn't say how much yarn is used there, either. Hopefully others chime in who have made the scarf, and they can share how much yarn they used. I apologize for the inconvenience! -Dana from FaveCrafts

Hey, Lisa, the way I would figure out the amount is to look at of worsted weight yarn you use in a scarf that you like the length and pick up that much. I planned on about 600 to 700 yards. Better of course to have more than less. It's an adorable pattern. Can't wait to make it for my daughter.
