Why have there been no answers to the problem of rows, 2,4,6 not having the same amount of stitches as 1,3,5? I want very much to make this but something is missing. Can someone please fill me in? How have others made it?

The pattern for the Cozy Neck Warmer seems to have an error. Rows 2,4 and 6 only have 13 stitches and they need 19. Does anyone know what has been left out? I want very much to make this but need that info. Also, 19 sts seems like a very small neck warmer. anyone else have a problem with that? I saw 2 other people ask the same ? but I haven't seen any answers. Please comment here with your answers. Thanks, Jill

I've made a similare version of this neck warmer and it looks great and is very practical as it stays put without the loose ends that tend to unwind with longer scarves. I would not make button holes just sew the buttons in place; it is easy to pull over your head without musing up your hair and stays put. I also used 3 buttons and 1 large button instead of two. I had a collection of extra buttons that come with various clothing that I've purchased over time and used three suede buttons on dark purple scarf and then one large pearl button on a mauve heather tone yarn.

@megellibletsch 2313475 , I'm sorry to hear of your trouble. I have two options for you: 1. You can contact the pattern designer directly for help. The designer is specified in the byline. 2. I might also suggest that you try posting your question to our sites Facebook page. It is monitored by the editor and is a great resource for helpful tips and suggestions from our Facebook friends; perhaps they can offer some guidance! Addressing elizaeh question: *(k1, p1) twice, knit three, repeat from * once, end (k1, p1) twice, k1. I did not write the original pattern but have just completed my first one. Also I previously commented (but has not yet appeared on this site) that this pattern will not produce the finished piece as illustrated. It would require you to cast on at least 26 stitches to create the size and pattern shown. There should be four repeats of the 'boxes of seeds' to look like the picture. I will try again with 26 stitches.

I would like to make this with the button holes, but the directions for them are not included.
