Seed stitch does not work with 19 stitches. It requires an uneven cast on.

hi...i looked up how to do seed stitch and it says to always start with an even number of stitches. your instructions say to cast on 19 sts. is this correct? can you still do seed stitch with an odd number of sts? thank you, ri
