Row 1: K1, *P1, K2*, repeat from * until 1 ST remains, K1.

Row 4: P1, K until 1 ST remains, P1.
Instructions

Ch 60 (69, 78) with your knook.

Pick up 59 (68, 77) STS on foundation chain.

Work 1x1 rib (K1, P1) for 1.5 inches.

K across 2 rows.

Work in the waffle stitch pattern (above) 5 times, ending with Row 4.

K1 row.

Work 1x1 rib for 1.5 inches.

Bind off all STS loosely in knit.
Finishing
Weave in ends. Sew buttons in place to create a tube. Slip on and wear!
