Crimson Krill Shawl
"Hello everyone! This shawl is my latest addition in what I’m now calling ‘2021 Summer Shawl Collection’! As I recall all the shawls I made in the last season, I’ve recognized some common features that made this collection unique from the ones I made before: the type of yarn I used (medium and light worsted), mono colors, and a general pattern repetition. I now realize that sticking to these elements when designing helped me produce easy, yet beautiful pieces. Now back to this shawl. At first, I had many concerns about using this shade of red, because it kind of obscured most of the patterns I tried in my trial phase. I finally settled on this simple pattern that made me really satisfied with how the shawl turned out. I’m very proud of how it looks and how the color makes it both eye catching while it inspires a feeling of warmth in you. I hope you have a lovely time knitting it as I did. Stay safe and healthy!"
