Amazing! I can hardly believe that this is made from perler beads. Until I did a little research, I thought getting into this hobby would be expensive. The tray is not expensive and neither are the beads. I shy away from new hobbies because there is always some "start-up" costs but I think I can afford this.

Wow! I had no idea you could make this like this with the perler bead. This is not just for kids any more. Even though this post was made in 2015, it is still very appropriate for 2018. I have to admit, I know these have been around for a while but my kids would not sit still long enough to go through the hassle. However, I think this would be a new project for me as this type of work calms me.

I love this. Usually I think Perler beads look kind of tacky, but they actually work perfectly in this project because they look like embroidery!
