New Year's Memory Jar
Before you count down to a new year, look back on the last 12 months with a simple DIY project. A New Year's Memory Jar from Marti Wills is a great keepsake you can save forever. Mason jar craft ideas help you go green and reuse items you already have at home.
Materials:
- Cardstock - 2-4 colors
- Ribbon
- Adhesive
- Fiskars AdvantEdge Punch System and cartridge (Ironworks used here)
- Label punch
- Numbers
- Jar
Instructions:

Cut ribbon using the AdvantEdge Punch System.

Measure jar around - cut base piece of cardstock and punched ribbon to fit.

Adhere base around jar first. Then adhere punched ribbon.

Cut out label and adhere to jar front.

Adhere numbers for this year.
- Fill the jar with written notes of good things that happen throughout the year. Open and read them on New Years Eve.
