More Crafty Ideas For You

When it comes to Dollar Store DIY Ornaments, the possibilities are endless! If you enjoy creating budget-friendly decorations for your tree, we have some great craft project ideas for you to try.

For beginners looking for a simple and fun project, we recommend making painted glass ornaments. All you need are clear glass ornaments, acrylic paint, and a paintbrush. Simply remove the top of the ornament, pour a small amount of paint inside, and swirl it around until the entire ornament is coated. Let it dry upside down, and you have a beautiful custom ornament to hang on your tree.

If you are more experienced and looking to challenge yourself, try creating personalized photo ornaments. Gather some small frames from the Dollar Store, print out your favorite photos, and glue them inside the frames. You can add embellishments like ribbon or glitter for an extra festive touch. These ornaments make great gifts for family and friends.

For those who love a bit of sparkle, consider making glittered snowflake ornaments. Buy a pack of foam snowflakes from the Dollar Store, cover them in glue, then sprinkle on your choice of glitter. Once dry, attach a piece of string to hang them on your tree. These ornaments will add a touch of winter wonderland magic to your holiday decor.

No matter your skill level or preference, Dollar Store DIY Ornaments are a fun and affordable way to get creative this holiday season. Happy crafting!

What an adorable project. It's so easy and you can get straws in just about any color. I have green and red ones already. It will make some very pretty little trees. My grand daughter will love helping me to make them for my tree and hers. Thank you for sharing.

This is an ideal project for the little ones in our family. We exchange ornaments that have to be home made instead of gifts with my sisters and their families each year. Three of our 'littles' are able to make their own with guidance and this would be a sweet ornament for them. I like that it does help them understand the concept of different lengths. It's a good project for them to change their preference in color and dcor.

As a former language therapist, this project is a super way of teaching comparison concepts, longer, shorter, order and steps! For older kids, paint the straws with watered down white glue and then sprinkle lightly with clear, white or silver glitter! Glue on some green and red tiny Pom poms here and there for ornaments! Cute!

What a great project for a pre-school to make for their parents for the Holidays or for tree ornaments for your tree. So cheap and fast and a great idea. You can even make them and put on the front of a homemade Christmas card. Perfect projects for small kids too.

This project is perfect for college students, people who just want to redo their ornaments, and those that are just moving into their first place. What an excellent way to decorate the space for the holidays so that you can save a buck without compromising on the decor. What other projects have you considered besides trees? I can think of a ton I want to do.

With the school holidays about to begin, what better way to keep the kids occupied that to get them making Christmas decorations from great ideas like this? When Christmas is over, pack them away for next year. Before you know it, you will have a treasure trove of wonderful memories to decorate the family tree.

I love doing projects with my grand kids and this looks like another good one to try. It's cheap enough and easy enough and they are cute too.i know my grand daughter will want pink and purple and my grand son will want red. But that's fine cause with this idea they can do whatever color they want.
