- Plaid fabrics, assorted
- Plaid ribbons, assorted
- HeatnBond Lite Iron-On Adhesive (Therm O Web)
- Fiberfill stuffing
- Artificial greenery
- Hot glue gun
- Sewing machine and black thread
- Pattern
Instructions
Finished Size: 6.75”x4.25”

Wash and dry plaid fabrics without fabric softener. Press to remove wrinkles.

To print bear pattern, click here. Note: Pattern is printed in reverse.

Use pencil to trace bear onto paper side of HeatnBond Lite Iron-On Adhesive.

Cut out bear, leaving wide margin around traced shape. Preheat iron to medium heat setting, no steam. Following package instructions, place bear adhesive side down and fuse to wrong side of plaid fabric. Let cool.

Cut out bear on traced lines and peel off backing paper.

Following package instructions, fuse bear onto burlap. Let cool.

Pin two pieces of burlap together, pinning through bear.

Using black thread, begin sewing near bear’s back and sew all the way around the bear, stopping near back leg and leaving an opening for stuffing. Remove pins.

Cut out around bear, leaving 1/8” burlap border.

Stuff bear lightly with fiberfill and sew opening closed.

To make ornament hanger, tie ribbon in a knot and hot glue to back of bear. Tie bow and hot glue to front of ribbon. Cut a piece of greenery and hot glue to bear’s neck.
