This is just the cutest DIY project. It costs practically nothing but time. I have many cups without matching saucers. I hardly think the birds will care. I have a huge banyan tree behind the house that could hold a dozen of these. Thank you for this great bird friendly project.

I enjoy feeding the birds in my back yard. I will look at the 25 cent coffee cups, mugs, and plates at the resale shop and at garage sales, just to make this cute craft. I have a pair of cardinals I have been feeding for years. They will be appreciative!

What a cute little idea to use up an old mismatched tea cup or saucer without throwing it away. I love the idea. My dad loves to feed the birds, and I know he has several coffee and tea cups like this that I could use to make him a few of these to put in the lilac bushes where he can see them from the window. Neat idea!

This is so cute! It would make an adorable addition to any back yard, patio, or balcony. It would be nice to have an additional way of securing the plate to the cup in the event the glue lets go over time. Does anyone know a way to drill holes into the plate without breaking it so water doesnt pool in it? Which bit is the safest for doing so?

Such a simple, easy yet wonderful idea. I have so many mismatched cups that I should toss out but I don't. This would make a use for them. I have trees all over my property and the birds are plentiful. And I think this would keep the squirrels from getting into it. Thanks for sharing.

Did you make a teacup bird feeder? Did the squirrels out? I cannot keep the squirrels from eating all I mean all the bird food every time I put it out. This teacup bird feeder is cute that I would love to make some. I a wondering if it swings enough that the pesty critters will not get the food. This would also be good to glue cup on the saucer upright to put some water in it for the birds so you have the food and water to offer them.
