Accordion Card or Mini-Book
"Learn how to make an accordion card or mini-book with this simple tutorial. These tiny books are so versatile! They can be used as greeting cards, little photo books, tiny journals, etc. They also make great little sketchbooks for kids, or have your child tell a story by drawing a picture on each panel. That helps them learn order of events, and kids love them! This is a simple craft that makes a big impact."
Materials List
- card-stock or watercolor paper
- scissors
- tape or glue
- ribbon (optional)
- bone folder (optional)
- ruler
- rubber stamps and ink (optional)
Instruction

Cut 2 strips of card-stock or watercolor paper that are 12 inches x 3 inches (for a 3 inch square book.)

Mark the strips at 3 inch intervals, and accordion fold (mountain fold) the strips. Use a bone folder to get crisp folds. (optional)

Decorate the sections, and glue or tape the strips together.

Cut 2 squares of matboard or card-stock slightly larger than 3 inches square, and glue these at each end. (Sandwich a ribbon in between the cover and the book to use as a tie. (Ribbon is optional)
