Blue and White Snowflake Box
Create a royal blue box painted with popping white snowflakes as a reusable holiday gift box or lovely storage box.
Materials:
DecoArt Products Required
Snow Writer
- DS65C - Snow Writer
Americana Acrylics
- DAO36 - True Blue
Triple Thick Gloss Glaze
Americana Brushes
- DBF2575-B - Flat 3/4"
Supplies
- Water container
- Paper towels
- Palette or foam plate
- Chalk pencil (optional)
- Round papier mache box
Instructions:
1. Paint box and lid using flat brush and True Blue. Allow to dry.
2. Use chalk pencil or regular pencil to draw crosses for placement of snowflakes.
3. Use paper towel or foam plate to practice snowflakes. Draw snowflakes on box using Snow Writer. Use small grouping of three dots to fill in around flakes. Allow to dry.
4. Spray box with several light coats of Triple Thick Gloss Glaze. Allow drying between coats.
