Steps:
- Slice off the end of a carrot. Next, use a peeler to create uneven edges. This will be the shape of the petals.
- Create a flower by dipping the end of the carrot into paint. Stamp the carrot 5 times to form a circle. Reload with paint as needed. Stamp a second color of paint to the center of the circle.
- Continue painting flowers until you are satisfied with the design. To make flower buds, just stamp the carrot once or twice. This is a good way to fill in the design area.
- Add glittery highlights to the flowers by adding a drop or two of gold glitter paint to the center of the flowers and spread the glitter with the tip of your finger. Allow the paint to dry and heat set the paint with an iron.
Note: The t-shirt that I painted had a bow detail. I added paint to the bow by dry brushing the magenta paint onto each side of the bow with a foam paintbrush.
