Pearls on Wood Bird

You probably never thought you'd want a bird in your house, but this spring project is too cute to resist. Materials:

• Zva Creative Self-Adhesive Pearl Embellishments
• Wood bird
• Sand paper
• Acrylic paint (ivory and light teal)
• Paint brush
• Aleene's Tacky Glue

Instructions:

1. If needed, lightly sand wood bird to smooth any rough surfaces.
    
2. Paint entire bird ivory. Let dry.
    
3. Dry brush edges of bird with light teal. Let dry.
    
4. Position pearl embellishments on wings and tail. Cut off excess pearls and reapply to fill in designs and use 2 pearls for eyes. Press firmly so that pearls are secured. If needed, use glue to secure end pearls.
