From the blogger: "I love to have a fun little kids craft ready for those Thanksgiving holiday times, but I also love it to be easy and kid-friendly for everyone to enjoy! Using a section of cork from your empty wine bottle, add a little felt to the back to make it look like the feathers. A cute face complete with googly eyes makes each one super unique and cute. You can even add a little magnetic pieces to the back and turn it into a fridge magnet."

More Crafty Ideas For You

You can use cork slices to make mini turkeys to decorate the wreath, along with fall leaves, acorns, and other autumn-inspired embellishments. This project is perfect for those looking to add a touch of seasonal charm to their front door or entryway.

Another idea for our Cork Turkey Magnet enthusiasts is to make Thanksgiving place card holders. Using cork slices as a base, you can paint and decorate them to look like adorable mini turkeys. These can then be used to hold place cards at the Thanksgiving dinner table, adding a special touch to your holiday décor.

For those who like to get a head start on holiday crafting, we suggest making Cork Turkey Ornaments. These cute and easy ornaments can be hung on a Christmas tree or used to decorate gifts or packages. You can customize them with different colors and patterns to match your holiday décor scheme.

My friend has given me a box of corks and I was looking for some clever crafts that would use them to good advantage! This is so cute and kids would love it! For younger kids, you could use come permanent marker or paints to create the eyes, if you are worried about the googly eyes. This would be a cute little keepsake for dinner guest and could hold name cards as well! Great for a scout troop or church group kids' project too! Thanks for sharing!

love!
